John Edwards???  Another white guy running this Country?

But who else do we have?  I will not trash nor will I give negative insights about Barack Obama or Hillary
Clinton as I have deep respect for them both.  However, they are not my first choice for various reasons;
reasons I will keep to myself [for now].
We support John Edwards!
John Edwards voted for the war but has publicly stated several times that he was wrong and has much
remorse.  He wants to get the troops out of the invaded Iraq within less than one year.
John Edwards  is about taking away the wealthy and powerful who have made life so miserable for so
many. A candidate who says things like this:
"I absolutely believe to my soul that this corporate greed
and corporate power has an ironclad hold on our democracy."
One would hope with that said, that
John Edwards would be at the top of the polls and most certainly will receive the DNC nomination.  If
not, then it is of my beliefs that the Democrats have NO DESIRE in running this Country and that it is all
a joke [they played on the rest of us.]

John Edwards is the only one of the three front-runners who has a universal health care plan that will
lead to the single-payer kind all other civilized countries have.  Now mind you, I am not simple minded
enough to believe that his plan (just like any of the others) won’t cost the American people an arm, a leg
and a foot.  However, I do believe it’s a start and am willing to see how far he can provide this Nation a
much more suitable healthcare system.  Mr. Edwards believes that the health care industry is the
enemy and shouldn’t be considered to be part of a governmental plan.  (Again, I’m not so sure that is
something he can actually do, but I must say that his plan or vision is ten times better than any of the
other plans I have heard [so far]).
John Edwards refuses to take the big checks from the corporate PACs, and is alone among the top three
candidates in agreeing to limit his spending and be publicly funded. He has said, point-blank, that he's
going after the drug companies and oil companies and anyone else who is messing with the American
worker. The media clearly views him as a threat, probably because he will go after their monopolistic
power, too. This is Roosevelt/Truman kind of talk. That's why this should be a big concern for ALL
AMERICAN VOTERS.

John Edwards:  “I'm not running for president because I read something in a book.  I'm not running for
president because some political consultant told me what I'm supposed to say. I'm running for
president because of 54 years of my life, I have believed to my soul that the men and women who
worked in that mill with my father were worth every bit as much as the man that owned that mill."
I am so tired of the Democrats believing that just because I am a Black African American that I will continue to
vote for them.  They are not always my first choice.
I am so tired of those Republicans who rape our votes.  They take us for granted just as much and from my
own analysis, have never cared much for any of us.
(
Sadly, it’s the choice between to lessors.)
I am so tired of those that feel that just because I am a Black African American female that I would
immediately vote for
Barack Obama or  Hillary Clinton.  Don’t get me wrong, I believe they are doing their
best to appease us, but to think I would side with another Black is just foolish.  It is not the color of their skin;
PEOPLE have let me down.  And as far as a female, well…. I’ll just end it there.

Well, my parents (may God rest their souls) were avid voters and would roll over in their graves if I decided
not to vote, I will vote.  I have looked at all the candidates and have weighed my options carefully.  Should
John Edwards receive the DNC nomination, I will be casting my vote for him.  If not, then I will return to the
drawing board.
Should
Ron Paul receive the GOP nomination and Edwards doesn’t receive the DNC nomination, then I will
be casting my vote for Mr. Paul.

While I had already written my views about John Edwards, I have learned that
Mr. Moore has done the
same and I find it so ironic that we share some of the same opinions.  I promise that I did not copy ANY of
his views so there is NOT ANY plagiarism.  (If need be check my records.)
